Kween Konnie Loving Our Crown, LLC is a Black women-owned enterprise based in the greater New Haven, CT region. Koneisha Florestant, the founder and owner of the Kween Konnie brand, is deeply committed to fostering strong bonds and restoring the hearts, minds, and crowns of her community. A native of Bridgeport, CT, Koneisha was nurtured by her activist mother, who encouraged her to be an exemplary older sister and to care for and serve her community.

 

Koneisha, also known as Lil Konnie, began caring for her siblings' hair at a young age. This experience taught her the value of creating a trusting environment, strengthening relationships, empowering individuals, and restoring confidence. Throughout her life, Lil Konnie has established pockets of sisterhood groups and collaborated with her younger sister, Kadeija Johnson, a fellow Loctician and owner of Special K Care. In 2022, Konnie launched her professional career as a Loctician alongside her sister. In January 2024, Kween Konnie Loving Our Crown, LLC was officially established.

 

Within its first year, Kween Konnie LOC, LLC has grown into a reputable brand, trusted by clients who have experienced firsthand the company's mission to empower and restore crowns. The company has expanded its mission by developing products that are simple, organic, and effective. As a natural kinky/curly loc'd woman, Konnie's two-decade-long journey to create products culminated in the release of the Loving Our Crown Products line in the winter of 2024. In 2025 we envision a brighter future where we can inspire more individuals to proudly wear their crown with the same passion and dedication that drives us to Love Our Crown!
